Terms & Conditions

HALTRAM LIMITED (The Company)

  1. These Conditions shall apply to all sales of goods made by the Company and shall be binding on all purchasers.
  2. OWNERSHIP OF GOODS
    The ownership of all goods sold by the Company to the Purchaser shall remain in the company until all debts due to the Company from the Purchaser shall have been discharged in full.  Until all such debts have been discharged in full the Purchaser shall:
    • Store the good so as clearly to show them to be property of the Company.
    • Hold the goods and all monies received from any sub-sale thereof as trustee for the Company.
    • At the request of the Company furnish the company with the names and addresses of debtors, sub-purchasers and all particulars thereof, so as to enable the Company to recover sums owing from such sub-purchasers directly.
    • The risk in the goods shall pass to the purchaser at the point of delivery.
    • All payments received by the Company shall be first utilised in settlement of accounts which have been outstanding longest.
  3. RIGHT OF RE-POSSESSION
    The Company shall be entitled to repossess any goods sold to the Purchaser in respect of which payment is overdue and thereafter to resell the same.  For this purpose the Purchaser hereby grants an irrevocable right and license to the Company through its servants and agents with or without vehicles on all or any premises of the Purchaser on which such goods may be.  The Company shall also be entitled to recover any good supplied as display goods, either free of charge or at increased discount rates, which remain in the ownership of the Company under the Display Agreement.
  4. PRICE
    The prices of goods shall be those ruling at the date of delivery.
  5. DELIVERY
    The time, if any specified for the commencement and completion of the supply and delivery of the goods shall be deemed to be variable, if delays are occasioned by force majeure, strikes, lockouts, accidents, or any other cause beyond the Company’s control.
  6. QUALITY OF GOODS
    Goods invoiced or supplied are not tested, and no warranty is given nor shall any warranty be implied to the effect that goods supplied are suitable for any specific purpose.  The Company’s liability in respect of any defects in goods shall be limited to an amount not exceeding the invoice price of such goods.  No claims in respect of defects shall be considered by the company unless made within 7 days of the date of delivery of then good concerned.
  7. CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS
    The Company shall not be liable for any consequential loss arising from the supply of goods sold, whether the claim is founded in contract or independently of contract.
  8. CLAIMS FOR DAMAGE OR SHORTAGE
    The Company shall not be liable for damage in transit or for the shortage unless claims in writing are received within seven days of delivery.
  9. ARBITRATION
    Disputes arising in connection with the supply of goods shall be referred to a single arbitrator in accordance with the law in force at the time of reference.
  10. HEADINGS
    The headings to these conditions are for guidance only and shall not be used to assist in the interpretation of their meaning.
  11. GOVERNING LAW
    The law of Ireland shall govern the construction and performance of any contract to which these conditions apply.

Please note that the above guarantees are applicable for goods installed in a domestic environment with reasonable usage. Any items installed in a public or commercial area is subject to a one year guarantee.

Guarantees do not apply to products damaged as a result of transit, misuse, incorrect installation or from the use of abrasive cleaning products.

Cleaning and Maintenance

It is important to clean your Image shower door after every use

Wipe down all the glass and metal parts with a soft cloth

Do not allow lime scale to build up in hard water areas

Ensure that any residual water on the glass is removed after every use

Clean the glass regularly using soapy water

Do no use abrasive products on any surfaces

Install the enclosure in a well-ventilated area

Always read the instructions on the packaging

Aluminium is vulnerable to acid attack and some strong household cleaners including strong disinfectants, denture cleaners, hair dyes, wine making chemicals and photographic chemicals may contain acid

These materials may have a varying effect on the surface from black spots/streaks (which cannot be removed) to pitting the surface. Contact with these materials should be avoided

Exclusions of Guarantee

Incorrect installation not in accordance with Image fitting instructions

Failure to maintain product as per maintenance guidelines

Improper use of product not in accordance with the intended use of the product specifications

Glass shattering, and parts subject to wear are not covered by the lifetime guarantee

Negligent or wilful damage

Damage caused by limescale or hard water, aggressive cleaning agents or chemicals

Consumable items – hinges, rollers, seals – are subject to a two year guarantee only

Scratches or defects reported after installation

Service Engineer Call Outs

If our onsite inspection determines that the reported issue is not a manufacturing or materials defect, a call out charge of €100.00 + VAT will be applied
