Area Sales Manager – North West

About the Role
Due to continued expansion, Image Showers is hiring Area Sales Manager to join our growing team in the North West of Ireland.
This is an exciting opportunity to represent a trusted Irish shower enclosure manufacturer, working with retail partners, bathroom showrooms, merchants and trade customers across the North West of Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing customer relationships, growing sales, supporting in-store displays, identifying new business opportunities and representing the brand professionally in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales within the North West of Ireland.
  • Visit customers on a planned call cycle.
  • Build strong relationships with retailers, showrooms, merchants and trade partners.
  • Promote the Image Showers product range.
  • Support product displays, brochures, POS and promotional activity in store.
  • Carry out in-store merchandising, working with the marketing team to ensure displays and materials are kept within brand guidelines.
  • Represent Image Showers at trade events, exhibitions and customer events where required.
  • Identify new sales and distribution opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide market feedback.
  • Work closely with internal sales, customer service and marketing teams.
  • Achieve agreed sales and territory objectives.

Requirements

Senior Design Engineer

About the Role
Image Showers is seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer / Technical Design Lead to join our team in Kilkenny.
This is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone with strong technical design experience, excellent manufacturing knowledge and the confidence to take ownership of projects from concept through to production.
The successful candidate will work across standard shower enclosure ranges, bespoke solutions and new product development. They will support design, manufacturing, production, sales and customer service teams, while also attending site when required to measure for bespoke or complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies and technical drawings.
  • Design and develop new products, components and bespoke shower enclosure solutions.
  • Produce accurate manufacturing drawings and Bills of Materials.
  • Support projects from concept through prototyping, testing, production and launch.
  • Review and improve designs for quality, efficiency, manufacture and installation.
  • Attend site where required to measure for bespoke or non-standard projects.
  • Provide technical support to production, sales, customer service, installers and customers.
  • Manage multiple technical projects from brief through to completion.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Strong design engineering experience, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Proficient in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Experience with 3D assemblies, technical drawings and Bills of Materials.
  • Excellent measurement and technical drawing interpretation skills.
  • Practical, hands-on problem-solving ability.
  • Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail.
  • Full clean driving licence.

Desirable Experience
Experience in bathrooms, glazing, shower enclosures, construction, interiors, architectural products, bespoke manufacturing, glass, aluminium profiles, hardware or fixings would be an advantage.
